this money clip is aweful. i persuaded my mom 2 get this 4 me. she knew it was crap and tried 2 warn me. i get it from here (not saying anywhere else is better) n tried it out. it sucks because the clip puts pressure on one part of the bill; leaving the rest of the bill to move freely. the cards stay in just fine. the bills keep sliding off the clip. if you see one with this same design dont get it believe me. my mom goes 2 the thrift store and bought a fossil money clip for even cheaper gives it 2 me and i love it. if you dont know fossil is name brand. this one has a leather case 4 the cards. and the clip puts pressure on 2 parts the front & back of the bill. leaving the bill immoveable unless you move the clip. so again this is a do not buy you will hate the clip part of it. if u want one try fossil or one that keeps the bill secure. also if it has leather keep it away from your dog (no brainer right) but i left mines on my bed and my dog chewed that and my money & cards.

First, I loved it. It was small, forced me to condense the contents in my wallet down to a small front-pocket sized clip that held the essentials (ID, couple credit/debit cards, business cards and some cash). After a few times removing and replacing my debit card, I noticed the metal started scratching layers of plastic off the card.

After further inspection, practically every corner of the clip has a sharp metal edge, capable of slowly grinding down your cards, on both sides from the walls holding the cards in, and on top from the actual clip itself.

I tried filing some of these edges down and even taped the clip so the sharp edges were no longer exposed, but failed in the end. The filing made some of the edges sharper, and the tape eventually wore off, thus scratching my cards yet again.

I would not recommend this product to a friend.

I would give it 4 stars on idea/innovation and 1 star on execution. It is a cheap sharp piece of metal with a huge ugly "Slim Clip" logo on the front.

Don't Waste Your Money.

EDIT: Forgot to add, it is also scratching my iPhone case, which is all smooth anymore...

Excellent clip for the money. Non magnetic so it doesn’t destroy my credit cards and compact for my pocket. I couldn’t be more pleased.

I had this item about 8 weeks. I dropped it on the floor and the clip for the credit cards broke off. Very poor quality.

It won’t hold the cash as long. It’s too easy to get to, in the front pocket, and spends much faster.
